چکیده
Çanakkale semt pazarlarında satılan 96 adet yeşil sebze örneğinde “beta laktam” dirençli Enterobacterales suşlarının varlığı araştırılmıştır. Gövde, yaprak kısımlarından alınan örneklerden Violet Red Bile Glucose (VRBG) Agara ekilmiştir. yükleri <1 log KOB/g ile 6.11 arasında tespit edilmiştir. Kromojenik GSBL Agar ve 2 mg/ml meropenem içeren EMB Agarda üreyen 129 izolat MALDI-TOF MS yöntemine göre Serratia liquefaciens (n=35), plymuthica (n=31), Klebsiella oxytoca (n=25), pneumonia (n=6), Raoultella ornithinolytica (n=14), terrigena (n=3), Enterobacter cloacae (n=11), ludwigii (n=4), asburiae (n=1), Lelliottia amnigena (n=16), Escherichia coli (n=2), hermannii Leclercia adecarboxylata Pantoea agglomerans Kluyvera intermedia Kosakonia cowanii (n=1) Hafnia alvei olarak tanımlanmıştır. Disk difüzyon izolatların %11.62’sinin (n=15) Genişlemiş Spektrumlu “Beta Laktamaz” (GSBL), %4.65’inin (n=6) karbapenemaz pozitif olduğu belirlenmiştir. Yeşil sebzelerde karbapenem ısıl işlem görmeden tüketilen bu gıdalardaki halk sağlığı riskini ortaya koymaktadır.

Detection of Extended Spectrum Beta Lactamase Producing Salmonella spp. and Multidrug Resistance Pattern
Background: and Objectives: Salmonella infections are endemic in many developing countries with poor sanitary conditions, but emerge sporadically as a serious public health threat in developed countries. Infections with multidrug resistant (MDR) strains of Salmonella have been associated with treatment failures. Salmonella spp. resistant to extended spectrum cephal...
متن کاملExtended Spectrum Beta-Lactamase (ESBL) Producing Enterobacteria in Aquatic Environmental Sources of Bangladesh
Extended-spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL)-producing Enterobacteria has become a considerable global concern because of their potential dissemination in humans, in domestic animals, wildlife and the environment. The present study aimed to explore the ESBL producing enterobacteria in aquatic sources of Bangladesh as the water may be the potential source of dissemination of this alarming ant...
متن کاملExtended-spectrum beta-lactamase-producing organisms.
Extended-spectrum beta-lactamases (ESBLs), which hydrolyse extended-spectrum cephalosporins and are inhibited by clavulanic acid, are spreading among Enterobacteriaceae. The CTX-M enzymes are replacing SHV and TEM enzymes as the prevalent type of ESBLs, principally in community-acquired infections caused by Escherichia coli. Associated infectious syndromes include mainly urinary tract infection...
متن کاملExtended-spectrum beta-lactamase- and carbapenemase-producing Enterobacteriaceae among Ethiopian children
BACKGROUND Infections by extended-spectrum beta-lactamase- (ESBL) and carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CRE) are an emerging problem in children nowadays. Hence, the aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of ESBL- and carbapenemase-producing Enterobacteriaceae among children suspected of septicemia and urinary tract infections (UTIs). METHODS A cross-sectional study was cond...
متن کاملUse of ChromID extended-spectrum beta-lactamase medium for detecting carbapenemase-producing Enterobacteriaceae.
ChromID extended-spectrum beta-lactamase (ESBL) culture medium is routinely used for screening ESBL producers. This medium was tested for detecting carbapenemase-producing Enterobacteriaceae isolates from a collection of reference strains and compared to the CHROMagar KPC culture medium previously evaluated for detecting KPC-producing isolates. Producers of IMP-, VIM-, and KPC-type carbapenemas...
